OVERVIEW
Miami is often viewed as a tropical paradise.
However, Miami is a city full of darkness in need of the truth about Jesus Christ. The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) has a presence in this area, working to be a light in that darkness.
Out of approximately 6 million in Miami, research shows that only 5-10% associate with Christianity and 60% do not claim any religion. Of the largest metropolitan areas, Miami was reported to have the 2nd highest number of people living at or below the national poverty level. Combining these realities, both physical and spiritual poverty are crippling this city.
At Envision Miami, we strive to mobilize the church, develop missional leaders and transform communities. We collaborate with Latino, Haitian and other multi-ethnic churches and ministries to take the Gospel into the inner-city. Our goal is to multiply disciples. Come help us awaken this forgotten city to the light of Christ.

We need mission teams to join us, in partnership with local churches and other ministries, to be that light in a dark place.
As a short-term mission team you will be involved in: Local church partnership, ministering to the homeless, community outreach, public school partnership, sports ministry, cross cultural immersion, prayer ministry, residency & internships, and more!
COSTS
DAY TRIP: $85
One day — 8am to 5pm. Lunch and dinner provided. Offered Sept.-April.
WEEKEND TRIP: $145
Three days — Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Offered Sept.-April.
WEEK TRIP: $525
Seven days — Sunday to Saturday.

As a ministry of the C&MA, Envision identifies and develops missional leaders who innovate, establish, and strengthen communities of faith in key urban environments. We do this through short-term trips, internships, leadership development, and ministry opportunities in the Alliance family.
